Everybody loves a bucket. And for good reason – they are everywhere and come in a wide variety of sizes, colours and shapes. Buckets are used for a wide range of things and have been for centuries, they are as close to perfection for load carrying as we are likely to ever get.
But what buckets are an absolute must to try out? Here’s the answer to that nagging question:

Wooden Bucket

Step into the shoes of your ancestors and grab yourself a rustic, wooden bucket. Iron rimmed or not, wooden buckets are awesome! They’ve come back into fashion recently for gardeners across the country with everything from herbs to pine trees being planted in them.

Castle Buckets

If you haven’t played with a castle bucket then you really haven’t lived. This children’s toy can make visits to the seaside and adventures in the sandpit absolutely buckets of fun! Building sandcastles has never been as easy as with a castle bucket – letting you build bigger and better than anyone else around!

KFC Family Bucket

We all love a bit of chicken and KFC’s family bucket lets you have it in the quantity you really desire! Of course, you could try out a variety of different southern fried chicken restaurants and find your favourite but KFC is simply classic!

Buckethead from Guns & Roses

Once you’re finished with the KFC Family Bucket, give it a quick wipe down, grab your air guitar, and stick the bucket on your head then shred along to Guns and Roses. Here you can get a cheap and fun Buckethead outfit or have a great time thrashing on the air guitar around your home – probably to the bemusement of your family.

Digger Buckets

Have you ever dug a hole with a JCB? If not – what are you waiting for? It’s great fun! Go out and hire a JCB with a digger bucket and start digging a really, really, really big hole. You will receive a huge amount of satisfaction from your hole and it’ll be one more tick off the bucket list: “Try to dig to China.”

Popcorn Bucket

Cinema trips are never complete until you bury you hand deep into a bucket full of popcorn and get your chow on. Everybody needs to do this at least once in their life – don’t let the ridiculous cinema prices put you off!

Hand-Made Bucket

Prove your DIY skills by making your own bucket. This is a complicated and time consuming process that will produce a spectacular finished product – a bucket that you crafted yourself! There are loads of ways to make a bucket, how you proceed is up to you!

Toilet Bucket

Indoor plumbing is overrated (no it isn’t), what you really need is a toilet bucket (no you don’t). Imagine the freedom of emptying your bladder into a bucket and simply slinging it out the window (sounds disgusting). An added bonus (not a bonus) is that you can water your plants while you’re at it!

Bucket in a Well

Drawing water straight out of the ground is something that people have been doing for centuries, but have you ever done it? Probably not! Go and find your nearest well and lower a bucket down into the earth and draw up cool, clean water – this is really refreshing on a hot summer’s day.

Ice Bucket

Once you’ve ticked off all the below tasks on your bucket bucket list you can crack out the champagne – but what are you going to put it in? An ice bucket of course! You can keep the bubbly nice and cold letting you celebrate for as long as you want after all, you deserve a tipple for completing the bucket bucket list.
