Pigment

We stock a range of resin pigments which can be used to add colour to resin and Gelcoat. Pigments can alter the mechanical properties of resin so you should not use more pigment than is necessary. A 6% addition by weight will create a strong, dark colour. You should never add more than 10% by weight. You can also add polyester pigment to epoxy resin but this should be at no more than 5% by weight. The mixture must always be stirred thoroughly prior to application.
